BREAKING NEWS: Notorious “Biker Gang” Haunts Softball Night

Residents of the softball complex were once again put on alert Wednesday evening after the notorious bicycle gang known publicly as “The Scholars” was spotted making another appearance.

Despite their scholarly alias, eyewitnesses remain unconvinced.

The group was first observed conducting what experts describe as “highly coordinated laps” around the softball fields before establishing a visible presence near the concessions. Their activities included riding in formation, stopping to survey the games, and making suspiciously sharp turns without apparent reason.

Dr. Chris Burns, when asked about the latest sighting, reportedly glanced toward the bicycles before continuing to watch the game. While declining to speculate publicly, observers noted that he “appeared aware of the situation.”

The Commissioner, Mr. Tom Rowe, has neither confirmed nor denied the existence of an organized bicycle syndicate but has assured the public that “the situation is being monitored.” Sources indicate that no emergency league meeting has yet been scheduled (nor will one ever be scheduled).

Perhaps the most concerned individual is Shawn Lynn, who has reportedly considered keeping a small bat near the concession stand—not for softball purposes, of course, but strictly as a precaution should the gang’s intimidating bicycle patrols grow any bolder.

Meanwhile, veteran spectator Gerard Roberts was seen calmly observing the scene, apparently unfazed by the cyclists’ repeated passes around the complex. His composure has earned him the unofficial title of “Most Likely to Negotiate with the Gang.”

Alex Roberts, however, offered perhaps the most insightful assessment of the evening:

“They’re just kids on bikes...”

A statement that investigators continue to treat with healthy skepticism.

Authorities emphasize that, despite the gang’s fearsome reputation, the only confirmed offenses committed to date include excessive bicycle riding, ringing bicycle bells, laughing with one another, and periodically watching softball.

The public is advised not to panic. Should members of “The Scholars” be encountered, experts recommend remaining calm, offering a friendly wave, and resisting the urge to challenge them to a race.

The bikers should be aware, however, that the Warners Mafia does have a file on them, that “The Gentleman” was so kind to let us show here:
